News...

Just returned to New York after my role début as "Violetta Valery" in Verdi's La traviata for Opera On The Avalon in Newfoundland in June, and in July reprised the role of Venus in an encore performance of The Judgement of Paris by Eccles, which we first performed in May - this time in Washington Square Park in New York. I'm also thrilled to report that I was a winner in the Boston District of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, and moved on to the New England Region Finals at the end of January, 2013!

In December 2012 I sang my first Saint-Saëns Oratorio de Noël at The Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New York. May 2012 saw me complete my Master of Music in Vocal Performance at The Manhattan School of Music, under the guidance of Patricia Misslin. In the Spring I sang the lead role in Manley Romero's Dreaming of Wonderland for Operation Brooklyn & at MSM, and in 2011 I appeared at MSM in Ravel's L'enfant et les sortileges & was thrilled to perform the role of "Mimi" in a concert presentation of Puccini's beloved La Boheme. Other recent performances include "Lucy" in Gian Carlo Menotti's delightful one-act opera The Telephone with Ottawa Pocket Opera in March 2011 & "Michaela" in Bizet's Carmen for Pellegrini Opera in May 2011.

I invite you to visit my "listen" page to view me in Dreaming of Wonderland and as Rosina with baritone John Packard as Figaro in the critically acclaimed 2009 Nickel City Opera production of Rossini's The Barber of Seville that also featured Benjamin Brecher & Metropolitain Opera bass Valerian Ruminski.
